Can we pray behind members of the sect called the 'Ibaadiyyah?

Question:
Is the ?Ibaadiyyah sect considered to be from the misguided sects from the sects of the khawaarij, and is it permissible to pray behind them ? with evidence?

Answer:
The ?Ibaadiyyah sect is from the misguided sects, due to what is with them from baghee (rebellion) and ?udwaan (enmity) and khurooj (revolting against) ?Uthmaan ibn ?Affaan and ?Alee radi Allaahu ?anhumaa. And prayer behind them is not permissible.
And with Allaah is the tawfeeq. And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
