Prayer between the Pillars
|
Question:
What is the ruling on praying between the pillars, and what is the ruling of the saying of the one who says it is permissible when there is a need?
|
Answer:
It is disliked – in the congregational prayer, and Anas said: 'that they used to dislike that,' however, if the Masjid becomes crowded then there is no harm Inshaa Allaah. As for the case of a man praying on his own, then there is no harm if he prays between two pillars, since the companions would hasten to the pillars, regardless in order to pray behind the pillars or between them, and this is for the single person, and there is no prohibition in this.
