Adhaan and iqaamah for the night prayer?

Question:
Is the adhaan and the iqaamah obligatory for the salaat ul layl (night prayer) or does one pray the night prayer without adhaan and without iqaamah?

Answer:
There is no adhaan nor iqaamah for the night prayer.
And with Allaah is the tawfeeq. And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
