Seeking help in building a masjid
Question:

Is it permissible for a Muslim to seek help from a Muslim in building a masjid or a madrasah (school), and why?
Answer:

That is permissible because it is from mutual cooperation upon birr (goodness) and taqwaa (fear and dutifulness to Allaah), the Exalted states:

Help you one another upon birr and taqwaa, and do not help one another in sin and transgression. Surah al Maaidah (5) aayah 2

And with Allaah is the tawfeeq. And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
